Greetings to all of our fellow PR2 junkies! I want to thank Laura K for providing my own space for the live-posting tonight. Laura, your humor and dedication to this site has won many fans.
Tonight's episode of PR2 is titled "On Thin Ice". The preview video for this episode was hilarious, there is much promise for fun and shenanigans this evening.
For the benefit of our West Coast friends, I will be primarily sticking to the facts of the show and will try to add as many details and funny lines that I can keep up with. I encourage others to post highlights on the other thread to fill in the gaps.
There has been much informed speculation about the outcome of tonight's episode, mainly revolving around the infamous "Final 7" screen cap captured from the preview video shown after episode 2.
Opinions about this image have lead to a very strong cosensus that Emmett will likely be the recipient of Heidi's good-bye kiss tonight. There is also strong evidence from this image pointing towards Zulema as the winner.
Or is there? Has Heidi fooled us all and pulled the Klum over our eyes? My toes are tingling in anticipation - I love this show!
We will be also looking for a possible model shake-up this evening. The "Final 7" screen cap shows who we think are models Lesley and Cara on the runway. But wait! They were auf last week when Marla/Diana got the boot. We'll keep a close eye on the opening of tonight's show to see if anything funny is going on...
The contestants tonight will be designing a skating costume (we think) for Olympic figue skater Sasha Cohen. OPur intrepid designers in the preview are shown donning skating duds. Emmett is shown in neon-pink, prompting this from Nick: "It was like international male gone g-g-g-gay!"
Heidi looks, as usual, super-fantastic. The models are on the runway. As predicted , DV and Andrae stick with Rebecca and Danyelle. Andrae: "I couldn't possibly change"
We're in the preview video scene now. Designers are whisked away to the skating rink. Sasha is introduced to the grou. Nick loves it. Sasha: "your next challenge is to create a figure skating costume for me"
10 hours left to finish. Tim is in the house! Emmett - "looks too dark" uh-oh Zu - sounds ambitious, also beautiful" Kara - "haven't we seen this before" Santino - "think about responding to MK and Nina in a way that's not f*** you!" We love our Tim Gunn!

You can tell there is more tension, competition amongstthe designers this week.
Santino: "I just kept adding stuff" To the model: "just sell it, I know they are going to call me on the runway and I'm just gonna tell them I love it"
Show on! Rebecca looks great again, love her. Zu is happy. Kara seems pleased. Emmett - it was very tasteful DV - eh Santino - wishes he had more time Nick - feels good Chloe - worried about Grace's height.

ReplyDeleteSasha has given some guidelines: needs to be more than a pretty dress, lightweight, flexible, etc.

Zulema broke the overlock machine. Andrae takes it upon himself to fix it. "Without it, it's like sewing with 1 hand tied behind your back"
