Thanks Laura! Hello again PR2 fans and welcome to tonight's live-posting event on Blogging Project Runway. I'll be providing running commentary on tonight's episode as it is broadcast live in the Eastern and Central time zones. For all of you West Coast fans, this is the place to be!

Greetings also to the PR2 designers who are following along with us this evening - we know you're here! We're cheering on those of you who are still in (most of you anyway) and miss those who have been aufed. Thanks for sharing your insight on the experience with Laura K and all of your new fans.

Once again this week, you will notice two threads available for live-posting. This thread will carry my live blow-by-blow and the other is for everyone else to chime in with their own witty observations as the episode airs. We had a geat time last week and are ready for another night of PR fun and frivolity.
ReplyDeleteTonight's episode is titled "Inspiration". On Tim Gunn's podcast this week he states that the designers will be presented with a challenge based on "What is the seed that you plant from which your design will grow". The weekly synopsis in TV Guide says "The remaining designers try to find inspiration from their surroundings". What the hell this means, I have no idea. I'm just hoping the challenge provides us some stunning design work (for a change)...

Betting favorites this evening are running towards Nick for the win and Kara for the auf. There is a strong, growing contingent leaning towards Andrae as a potential winner and equal numbers looking at Zulema to receive Heidi's good-bye kiss. There is solid evidence from the previews that these 4 are out in front of the judges, so we will soon see!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of judges, tonight marks the return of PR1 winner Jay McCarroll. There should be fireworks on the runway!
Tonight will also provide us a look at the much anticipated "Mother-f***ing" walk-off, as Daniel puts it. Last week's winner, Zulema is looking to shake things up with the models in the competition. Will she steal the lovely Tarah from Nick, as is heavily predicted?
