Flower Power

The TV Guide listing has updated the Project Runway schedule through February 1st. The February 1st episode is called "Flower Power." Hmmmm....

Edited to add:

Okay - here's the schedule so far:

Jan. 11 - Window Shopping - which we know is a team challenge. (Teams listed below.) Presumably the teams design window displays. Each team of two will execute ONE design. Maybe an entire team will be eliminated. Maybe not. We'll see...

Jan. 18 - On Thin Ice - sounds like they will be designing for a Figure Skater. Maybe Sasha Cohen - we'll see...

Jan. 25 - Inspiration - I have no idea what this one is about - Anyone want to hazard a guess?

Feb. 1st - Flower Power - ????

My guesses:

On Thin Ice: I think you're on the right track with this one, definitely sounds like something involving figure-skating, especially if the producers knew this would be airing around the time of the Winter Olympics.

Inspiration: I'm clueless. A stage outfit for Peter Cetera?

Flower Power: Maybe they're shooting for more "innovation" themed challenges, and they have to make a garment constructed entirely of fresh flowers. I have no clue for this one either.

on Window Shopping the designers will create a day-to-night retail garment for the retail market (i know this for sure: http://online.tvguide.com/NewSearch/detail.aspx?id=5176498&tvobjectid=191726&sourcetype=s&progseriesparentid=4249763&keyword=project%20runway

If I hadn't known that Diana and Marla would be working together this week, I would have said that this would be Diana's week to shine. A day-to-night outfit sounds like the kind of thing that she could "gimmick"-up and make work. Press a button on the sleeve to lengthen the skirt by 3 inches!

Was Sasha Cohen the one who won 1st place at the last winter Olympics? I just know that the girl who won gold was from Great Neck, Long Island. So whoever that was might make sense. I just forget if her name was Sasha.
