however, somehow, Britney's dress lacks some of the elegance of Chloe...though that could just be Britney

I think Brit's dress looks very 80's prom, while Chloes look chic and sophisticated. That could be the material or the cut, not sure really. Also, if we'll recall, the back of Chloe's Hilton dress was very elegant with the twisted rope...
