Click Here For A Great Article About Austin Scarlett

Photo by Braganti for NEWSDon't miss this little gem: But what pleases Gunn most is that Scarlett's new gig as a bridal bigwig proves "Project Runway" is about talent. Gunn has just finished casting Season 3 (which will hit screens this summer). "When they audition, people are really confident of this being a good thing for them," says Gunn.
Thanks Precious!

Austin makes me want to get married LOTS of times just to have an excuse to get a few dresses, maybe we can start a dress pool, split the costs, line up a few beaux, (heeeyy Tbone!) marry, have the party, eat drink be merry, lots and lots of pix, post all to BPR, quickie divorce, then pass the dress and beaux along to the next gal... *wink* :) :) Hey I have immunity... yeah thats it.. immunity.. I can dream in a ridiculous fashion.. hehehe

I'm so glad for Austin-this does seem like a great fit, and I think it shows that even just the participation on PR can give you exposure that will serve you well in the future. After the Wedding Challenge, who would have thought this is where Austin would end up? In the end, he was viewed as the whole package and that served him well. Season 3 designers, something to think about! It comes back to the "point of view", doesn't it?

One more thing (LOL)-

Snwoflake, I love Jay, too, although he definitely doesn't design for me personally and I wish him well. I hope he can find his way to a great collection (I had such hopes for what we saw on Project Jay) and Tim is right-there is something there that seems to be self defeating. Jay, we know you can do it-you know it, too.

I couldn't be more thrilled for Austin that he's able to 'have his couture and eat it too' in the wedding gown market. Huzzah! I always adored Austin and was devastated when he was eliminated during the Grammy challenge; he's so talented and just...adorable!

I was saddened to read TDTG's comment that Jay is 'an embarrassment,' because I (heart) Jay and I *love* his clothing. I really believe that Jay's work is the most variable-body-friendly work shown on PR thus far. It was unique, original, and I could see it fitting on women from size 2 to 14/16, and ages 16-45. It's nice to see a designer with such versatility and wide appeal.

Congratulations Austin! I'll ask DH to marry me again just so I can wear one of Austin's $6,000 beaded gowns.

I sincerely hope Jay shows a collection soon because I found him to be extremely talented.
