Hey, there's Gina Tognoni from Guiding Light on the Red Carpet at the Daytime Emmys!
Hmmmm......that dress looks awfully familiar......haven't we seen that somewhere before?
There she is again winning the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. Congratulations Gina, you look fabulous!
And don't you think some congratulations are in order for Kara Janx as well? My mind is getting a bit fuzzy, who had the decoy collection again??
Thanks Silvana, Simran and Beth!

Congrats, Kara!!! That's fabulous!
Ohh thats SO lovely!!! Congratz to both!
it looks better on the model. congrats to kara...i just hope there's not a backlash from overexposure of the kimono dress.
I was practically jumping up and down when I saw GT wearing Kara's dress!!! It's so beautifully distinctive, there was no mistaking it was THE dress.
That is so awesome! Congrats, Kara! I think Gina looks amazing in the dress and I bet she was comfortable, too! What a lovely win for both Gina and Kara
I am truly so happy for Kara.
Wasn't a big fan of her designs during the show-but I don't think she really expressed herself until the decoy collection-which was beautiful and fun! And matched her spirited personality.
Congrats Kara!
I love love ,love that dress and her design for the OFW,but it screammmmmmmmmmmmms Madeleine Vionnet circa 1935....
gorgeous. Kara Janx is an inspiration. If ONLY she showed her stuff during season 2!!! That dress is beautiful and truly a testament that Kara's style and design can work both on the street and on the red carpet.
must be me - but - I just don't get why everyone raves about this dress - to me it looks like a 1950's robe - but --
I am happy for Kara -
No, anonymous, it's not just you. I don't "see" the big fuss about the kimono dress either.
Not that I spite Kara the success; I wish her all the best. I guess the kimono dress just doesn't 'do it' for me.
Did anyone see What Not To Wear this week, too? Stacy's kimono dress looked like a Kara Janx, I wondered if it was-looked great on her.
I think it's Kara's use of color that makes it distinctive. I happen to own one of her kimonos and it's incredibly comfortable, practical and stylish. It has a deep enough wrap that keeps it from being a struggle to wear. It's a very well engineered dress.
i like your dress
