santino's dress wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad!
I agree. As much as I despise Santino and as much as his dress was slightly oversantinoed, it was original and certainly wasnt hideous.
I am sad that daniel won that challenge coz he got off with the impression boring-safe is OK in the end, which I doubt it will be. We all can see the result in the Fashion Week photos. And it sucks coz Daniel is awesome and very talented.
I am afraid to say his collection is so dowdy it looks like Wendy made it. --- pares down hits by everyone ----
In the other hand Santino and Kara have obviously taken into account the constant criticism they faced and the result was great.
Yikes. Santino's version was much classier.
Y'know, I actually liked this dress. Santino's dress was sort of clunky in comparison.
The problems with that particular dress are proportion and colour. I think it would have been less awkward had the designer either brought the white further up (as in a very high collar), or (my preference) bit the bullet and gone with a nude chiffon, or a gold lace (or even a nude lace threaded with gold). The balance is off, and that's why it looks awkward.
