Isn't This Fun?

I hope everyone has read the interesting comments left for the last couple of posts. Thank you all for contributing to the speculation. I have no idea what will happen tonight - and I CAN'T WAIT! : )

Meanwhile TV Guide lists the February 8th episode as "Makeover." Hmmmmm.... What could that mean?

This is great..and thanks for having this great blog....

I don't know what's what..or who's who..anymore! All I know is that Emmett and Marla are not in that picture..That's evident...

Is that Zulema in the 1st row???We do know she gets to have a 'walk off"..

Also..the ice skating forum's are posting that "a very famous skater" (I don't want to say who it is) has announced she will be having them design for her..Don't know if anyone else has come across this..

This day can't go by fast enough..I'll be watching starting with the re-run of "All Dolled Up"..gonna be watching for anyone with that bright orange shirt..to see who that is in the back row..I think Kara, but have heard other opinions..

This is a link to an ice skating schedule. After this famous skater appears on Project Runway, she will also be on The Tonight Show. Click on the link if you want to know for sure! http://heatherw.com/mk/sch.htm

I just can't wait to get my weekly dose of Uncle Nick and Daniel V.

That and I'm vibrating like a tuning fork to see what goes down tonight...lol

ill take a guess:

the "makeover" challenge will require them to "make over" one of their prior creations and turn it into something new and/or improve one of the losing outfits in that way :)

AJ said...

anonymous, that's a great guess!

That would be a very cool challenge to watch.

But haven't all the designs been auctioned off? Hmmmmmm.... I wonder....

Less than 6 hours to show time here in the Eastern Time Zone! I will soon be assembling my PR2 viewing shrine with its array of tuning forks (thanks aj), the Tim Gunn fashion dictionary and a blown up picture of the "Final 7" screen cap.

I've given up on guessing who's in or out, but I am rooting hard for Chloe to stay.

I'll be posting initial reactions and results early tonight for those of you out West, so don't look if you dont want to know!

Ah, Tbone, now you KNOW I have to turn off my computer ALL NIGHT in order to avoid the temptation to check in with the comments and boards before I view the episode. I think I'll just take a nap....

Good point Laura...I think all of the designs either have been, or are in the process of acution. It was a neat thought though!

Almost quitting time...which means almost only 5 hours to go! All this talk has seriously got me amped up for tonight...hence the tuning fork...lol

maybe - Makeover - will require them to design something from vintage/used clothing

Marla - Diana go tonight and Emmett next week - my guess

can't guess who will win tonight - Santino and Nick will be a great team - but so will Danny and Andrae - and Chloe should find out if Emmett is a "sack of potatoes"

Hey all - I will be posting spoilers on this thread as the show airs. You've been warned!

Hang in there Chloe!

Episode 6 Spoilers Below!! Sto here if you have not seen it yet....

1st segment:
Santino: "My confidence has grown" (How is that even possible?)

Models: Santino keeps Heather, Eliza is out.

Interesting: the designers pick their fabrics at Banana Republic before they are told they are working in teams.

Early teamwork: Santino takes over Nick, Zulema relies on Kara, Daniel and Andrae work awesome together, Marla relying on Diana

Go Chloe!

2nd segment: The good professor comes into evaluate (my favorite art of the show)

Early analysis: Loves Santino/Nick and Andrae/Daniel designs. Other two teams in serious trouble!! Kara has completely lost it in tears. Zulema has to take over and is cracking me up. Major bonus poits to Zu this week. Diana changes the design based on Tim's comments. Who will it be this week???????? Stay tuned.....

More Episode 6 Spoilers Below!!!

Chloe's not confident on their reversible jacket (uh-oh!)

Designs are finished, they get $200 to design a window display at BR. The shoppers and people on the street vote on their favorite. Best two displays are Andrae/Daniel and Zu/Kara. Zulema really carried the team, unbelievable.

Nick/Santino display is laughable. I think Zu/Kara win, but we'll see on the runway..... Stay tuned!

ang in there Chloe!!

Santino goes at it with Michael Kors - classic!

The judges like Daniel/Andrae are so-so on the others, least pleased with Diana/Marla and Nick Santino designs.

Damn a commercial! Stay tuned....

MARLA/DIANA ARE OUT!!

ACK! Where's my recap!...lol

Qucik comments until later...Santino going after Kors: uncalled for and way ballsy, but entertaining needless to say.

Hooray for Daniel and Andrae! I will comment further on them later...

So I guess our model guesses were off...at least mine were!

Peace out Marla! Her lack of vision and creativity ticked me off so hard...and her and Diana's inability to back their designs made me want to slap someone. Good riddance!

Well, if Santino wins, I'd imagine it would be because of his designs and not his attitude. I mean, Michael Kors has a bit of an attitude himself. So while it's certainly entertaining and nail-biting to watch Santino bitch out the judges, I don't think it's really going to affect things. Unless Nina just snaps one night and, like, kicks him in the balls or something.

AAAAAAAND....did anyone else find it interesting that Nick didn't really appear to do all that much to put a damper on Santino's enthusiasm? I mean, obviously it was edited and such, but it just sort of seemed like he did exactly what he did during the lingerie challenge: he sat there and watched with an amused grin on his face while Santino floundered about in the land of trims and details.

I really hope that Nick doesn't let his desire to see Santino fail get in the way of his own designs. He's awfully, awfully confident, and I hope that their near-miss this week will give him the humility he'll need to put his nose to the grindstone in these last few weeks.
