Attention New Yorkers! Are you free tonight? Kara Janx will be at plum for an exclusive night of shopping & cocktails featuring the debut of her Fall Collection including her famous kimono wrap dresses in all colors and styles.
Thursday May, 18th
124 Ludlow Street (between Rivington & Delancey)
We'd love to hear all about it!
Also, there is a great article in the Detroit News about Daniel Vosovic. Here is the critical info for Detroit fans: On May 23, fashion fans can meet Vosovic as Fashion Group International's Detroit Chapter honors him at the Detroit Athletic Club. Tickets are $75 to $150 and include an hors d'oeurves buffet. Say...who do we know in Detroit...? Thanks, Tiffany!
"and sealed a deal with Bravo to write a weekly blog on the network's Web site."
I love the way Daniel has written in the past! Then again, I think I love everything the boy does...
But how fun!
If I weren't deathly ill right now with the flu and strep throat, I'd go to the reception at Plum for sure.
It's one of my favorite boutiques in New York, too!
Get well soon, Jessie!
i'm soooo over the kimono wrap dress!
Get well, Jessie! Hopefully you'll be able to give us some more NYC reporting about PR events soon.
I'm so not over the kimono wrap dress. To me, it's like dismissing Diane von Furstenberg's wrap dresses as being 'over.' IMO, there is always room in one's wardrobe for an effortless, chic dress that is comfortable and timeless. Kara keyed into that.
i have to agree with anonymous on this one. i think kara's kimono, while great and cute, cant compare to diane von f's wrap dress. i think the kimono dress will look dated in a year while the wrap dress has proven to be versatile b/c it's chic simple style isnt as obvious a statement as the kimono dress. i dunno, just a thought. but ya know what will still be chic and wont be dated in a year...danny v!
