Are any BPR readers attending Fashion Week in any capacity - like even as a caterer - anything? I'd love to have an on-the-scene-reporter! How about it?
Hey Tim, can you use your influence to get Laura a ticket east for Fashion Week? She needs to be there because we need her there because she needs to blog it for the rest of us...
I don't live *that far (outside Philly, basically) so it would be do-able. Even if just a day trip. We really *should* have representation there - and you would think TPTB at PR would Want some of us there!!!
I'd go but not by myself, y'all.... It's so soon, though...would definitely have to get something to wear! lol
well, i live close to the city, maybe an hour away and me and a friend of mine who is also a project runway fan (and who told me about this site) were planning on seeing if we could maybe go into the city one day during fashion week, but it would probably require skipping classes.
The Olympus Fashion Week website lists the time the final 3 designers' runway show for 9:00am February 10th. There is only the one time listed, so does that mean that each designer gets about 20 minutes to show their collection? That seems very short in comparison to the regular designers who get an hour (though I do think the collections the Project Runway designers make are smaller).
I work across the street from Bryant park where Fashion Week is being held. I can see the tents from my office window right now. I'm tempted to take a stroll over there Friday morning and see what I can glean, but the atmosphere outside the tents is eerily quiet. You'd never guess everything that's going on inside.

I could make a drive up to NYC if someone wanted to get me a ticket...lol
*wakes up from dreaming*
I'm not asking for anyone to get "IN" to the show, just to be on the scene. To report about the general atmosphere etc.

Oh, OBD, you are so right, they should get Laura a ticket - and a plane ticket!!! She's brought a LOT of attention to the show....

This is so cute how we all have our hearts up - just how I imagined it!
