Poor thing-does the shirt come with detachable flowers that are not detachable at this point?
praddicted - HA! I just spit my coffee out all over my monitor on that one...
lmao! One of the best parts of her rant was when she started to go on about Johnny Cash and Daniel V. jerked head like "Wha?! This girls is nuts!"
praddicted - you can't see it, but I'm applauding you right now.AJ, I was so stunned, I nearly forgot the Johnny Cash reference. Thanks for reminding me!
Where can I get the "Where the H*LL is my chiffon?" shirts? Please help.
If you need a refresher, I have Lupe's response verbatim right here:kittenpants.org
How ironic that the banner on her website says "Guadalupe Vidal is Plain Lucid" in about 70-pt type.
Hee hee hee! Hilarious!Wouldn't you be so happy if you were wearing that down the street and somebody actually got it?
I love it!!
Wait, I just visited Guadalupe's website and she seriously has this to say:"As a writer is to prose Guadalupe parallels her design methods to that of the composition of a sentence..."Given that statement and what she had to say last night, I'm beginning to understand better her Nicki Hilton dress.Pow!
She's just throwing words together and hoping that they come out making sense but not really caring either way!
Kittenpants, better change the back of the shirt to the person's actual name...see the comments under the Tim Gunn transcription.
Didn't they have few drinks beforehand? I've had those moments myself after having downed a few glasses!
http://www.salon.com/ent/video_dog/realitytv/2006/02/23/drunky/index.html has the clip of loopy Lupe, with this description: The "Project Runway" reunion last night was chock full of priceless memories, but Guadalupe's rambling response to a simple question was one of the most absurd, disconcerting moments in reality TV since the golden ages of "Temptation Island." Tim Gunn, as always, bestrides the drunky foolishness like a colossus.
I just hope that Lupe's friends & family had an intervention with her this morning.
Hopefully the name is spelled "ARION" and changed...I really want to buy the shirt. It's a peice of history, lol.
It was probably wasn't merely alcohol that induced that kind of response. Her behavior bugged me. She just wants to sound deep, philosophical, and artsy by making comments that don't make sense. Her designs aren't bad but her personality is kind of annoying.
You know I could not duplicate your asthetic. Even you could not duplicate your aesthetic...Chrystal meth does this to a girl. The t-shirt and the clip = gold.
It sounds like it was a combo of ecstasy and alcohol. In Portland, Oregon here we have lots of meth addicts and they are not like that. I remember the artsy fartsy kids at college on e talked just like Lupe at parties . . .
