This thread is for live-posting of the "Makeover" episode. Our east coast friends will be live-posting in the comment section for the benefit of the west coast folks who can't wait until midnight to hear the results as well as for the folks who can't watch the show tonight because they are at work. oh, so for those of us under 21, I participate in all those "drinking games" but instead of alcohol... not gonna lie, I get a box of 50 munhckins from dunkin donuts & pop one of those suckers at every "Make it work" or bitchy MIchael Kors comment or complaint about the sewing machines or whatever my theme for the night is.
I highly recommend it!

The judges HATE the suit Nick made for Daniel. It's not so bad, despite the lack of closures or pockets. He still looked good...in concept.

If Nick goes tonight, then it will literally be because Santino makes better TV. He should have been out in two or three of the past challenges, but someone went for not being ambitious enough. Not only has Nick been ambitious, but he's also had REALLY strong garments throughout the competition.

Santino's jumpsuit for Kara is literally falling apart. The thing is GLUED TOGETHER! If Zulema gets aufed for poor construction, then Santino should be aufed.
I didn't think Daniel's outfit for Chloe was all that bad. I thought the bustline was particularly attractive for her. Was the 80s comment directed at the shoulder shape? I'm just clueless, I guess.
If Nick goes, I will be really REALLY pissed as hell. Santino cannot possibly be in and Nick go out. Of course, that's what I thought about Austin out/Wendy in last year. That was a total injustice as well.

Ok, I have had it with this show. For one, Heidi is driving me nuts...but thats be sides the point. I am not a fan of Nick at all, but tonights episode was not reality at all, it was staged. From the beginning it was edited to show how bad Santino was...bad bad...outfit blued...model uncomfortable...lied on stage...and he stays. Whatever, this is the second time this has happened, I won't watch it again. Thanks for reading my rant....I feel much better!

I'm happy for Santino. His jumpsuit was pretty cool aside from the falling apart thing. Obviously the judges are hypocritical after sending Zulema out for an unfinished dress, but oh well. I'd rather see his collection than Nick's.
I really liked Daniel's dress for Chloe this time - I don't get why the judges were so nasty about it.

I'm so sad:( I really love Nick as a designer and from what they show, he is an amazing person as well. As we've seen already, he is doing great things and I can only hope that wonderful things will happen for him in the future. I wish him luck and will miss seeing him on the show TERRIBLY!!

Do we think it's the teenybopper in me that has absolutely NO problem with Daniel's cockiness with the judges, but gets somewhat put off by Santino's?
In general I enjoy confidence, borderline cockiness. Maybe it's that Daniel hasn't been this snarky through the whole season, and that his is a bit more refined...I dunno though...

1. Did Daniel V. seem like a completely different person this episode? Where did all the attitude come from? I thought he and Santino were thick as thieves based on all the bonus videos on Bravo. I feel like something else happened that we're missing....
2. Were Heidi's voiceovers some of the worst dubbing you've ever heard (when Nick and Santino were on the runway). Terrible sound editing there.
3. I thought Chloe's suit was amazing, but Kara's outfit for Santino? Eh, not so much. I couldn't understand what they were all raving about there.
Just my observations.....

Anyone see the bonus video of everyone backstage yet? I thought Kara was upset she didn't defend Santino...she was actually upset for not dogging him more and as a result, Nick got booted. Then Daniel tried to get naked again, and that was fun.
Anyway...what an emotional episode! I need to spiffy up and go to sleep. Tomorrow I will be upset once again over Nick's untimely "aufing"...until then, I will simply know that he's off making wonderful clothes for a million other red carpet events;)
