The Latest....

First, please remember that the autographed portfolio auction on eBay is ending soon. Proceeds benefit Autism Speaks. Get your bids in quickly.

Speaking of auctions, did you know that you can bid on each designer's collections. That's right! Santino's final gown is already up to $2750.00! Check it out on the Bravo site.

Also, Here is an article comparing Tim Gunn and Tony Soprano! Thanks Florrie!
Apparently we aren't the only ones watching Project Runway. According to this article the finale broke all kinds of ratings records for Bravo. Maybe PR will win the Emmy this year!

Hmmmmmmm..... If you could only choose one episode to send to the Emmy committee, which one would it be?

I would send "All Dolled Up". It was a fun challenge that resulted in a great variety of designs. Most of the designers were still around, many had cute stories of their childhood. Tim was fierce in the workroom, and MK delivered his classic "barefoot l'il abner barbie" line.

My favorite episode of Season 2!

I'd say "Inspiration" just because it had funny moments (Santino absolutely slaying Daniel with his Timpressions) which could go into great editing...a mother effing walkoff and it's subsequent drama...the angst of said walk-off in Nick, and two models...the elimination of an "evil" contestant...really fabulous designs from at least 4 designers...editing of a trip through NYC...etc etc etc...

I have to agree that "All Dolled Up" was lots of fun though! It's hard to say. The Hilton Challenge was also a really good one...

I dunno though...

I think "Inspiration" was my favorite.

Also, Santino's dress is gorgeous and I bet it goes the highest. It was my favorite look of all for season two.....

The entire 13-piece collections are actually up for auction:

Chloe's Collection
Daniel's Collection
Santino's Collection
Kara's Collection

I'd say "Garden Party". Talk about unusual and innovation and isn't that the episode where Santino gets busted by Tim for doing his Timpressions?

Where he admits about the Red Lobster fantasy? lol That covers alot of aspects of the show and what made it so entertaining. I loved seeing the comraderie and all of them cracking up to the "bust".

"Clothes Off Your Back." It was a fun episode with the party, everyone in good spirits, lots of personalities, and a unique challenge with lots of creative results.

I'd have to agree with tbone...

"All Dolled Up" was the most fun challenge of the season for the designers, and subsequently for us the viewers. Plus, fan-favorite Nick came through for the win.

The other episodes suggested are great one's too: Inspiration was a great challenge, plus it featured guest judge Jay! (and the infamous walk-off!)

Garden Party was a lot of fun too, and every design truly could have been a winner on any given day.

Garden Party. In addition to the Red Lobster bust, there was crazy shopping, and skill (Andrae sewed a zipper into that grass!), and all the personalities of the designers were visible. Plus there was Daniel's coming out story, and Chloe's worst nightmare being to date a gay guy. And there were really funny elements: Daniel pretending to pass out from the shellac fumes.

The Banana republic challenge.... because baby, You better cry and cut, but I want you to cry and CUT! That is going to go down as a classic line in television....

Inspiration seemed to be the one where they had the most fun - but Garden Party and the Timpressions...it's really hard to make up my mind!

Let's go with Inspirations.

BTW Laura - don't you think that you had a little bit to do with the popularity of PR? I do!!!

They owe you. :)

Regarding the auctions - what is the standard clothing size that is used when creating for the runway? Size 2, 4?

Off topic, but this is as good a place to post this as any...

Is it just me, or in trying to download Tim's podcasts for the finale, is it impossible to get Part 1? No matter which one I try to download, I get Part 2. I can't seem to download Part 1 to save my life. Anyone succeed in getting that?

I liked the Barbie episode. There were a lot of designers still on the show and the designs were all adorable. We had Andrae leaping through the pigeons in Times Square. We had the designers speculating about who the "Fashion Icon" would be.... Grace Jones? Diana Vreeland? No...Barbie! Kara lost her hat. The wig drama, and finally we said goodbye to Barefoot L'il Abner Appalachian Barbie. When Uncle Nick interviewed about his niece - well that kind of sealed it. I'd nominate "All Dolled Up." Oh - I just remembered something else - how about how Santino assumed he was "second" and Nick won because he "helped" him - Priceless!

I would go along with the Barbie challenge episode. Not only were there great moments, it was a "colorful" episode which may catch the eye of the Emmy voters.

Of course, if I were an Emmy voter I would want to see an episode that features Daniel a whole lot more--like "Inspiration".

Het Amy - I just checked and was able to get both parts of Tim's podcast. I went to the Finale episode page and clicked on Tim's Take from there. Part 1 and 2 are listed, and both links worked properly.

Try again?

I managed to download both part 1 and part 2, but found them to be the same. Anyone else?

I had the same problem trying to DL the pt. 1 of the podcast (from iTunes).

But if you go to the PR Bravotv.com site and click on Tim's Take, you can listen to pt. 1 in streaming format.

Good luck :)
