When Laura K decides to have a blog producers meeting, she doesn't mess around! Say hello to Scarlett, Laura, TBone and some other guy who decided to join us.
Tim was so gracious. It was awesome to be able to share our thoughts about the show. He told us that on Saturday there were about 175 designers trying out and only about five were sent through to the next level.
Four of the best people on the planet right here. You three mods are great and again, thanks for all you did. And I can only say, I cannot be more jealous of you three and all those who took the tour. I would have flat out fainted if I had see the DV himself. Not to mention I probably would have fainted for multiple reasons, first time in NY, seeing all the PR spots, seeing the contestants, visiting Mood. I would have been like a kid in a candy store in Mood. Anyway, very very jealous of all you who went.
Four of the best people indeed! I have EB I am actually not supposed to do so much walking. But this was one of those times when i HAD to do this and not sure I'd be able to do all of it but not only the locations but the fun spirit of the people involved- the family and friends feeling in a group that only just met- had me literally bouncing along let alone walking. I seriously thought I could walk forever but ran out of time so to speak at Emmetts or else I would have tagged along to Macy's too. But this was something so worth the pain after so worth the memories it created and people met. I am glad for BPR because we can still stay in touch and appreciate this great show of true talent getting a shot and this great blog of truly wonderful people. :)

Hi Moi:)...thanks for asking about my foot! I made the entire trip bad foot and all...much like Snowflake...the energy of the group motivated me!!!
I am SO GLAD i made the trip with my brother (how many times do siblings get to do something like this after families are established?) Let me tell you, I was quite concerned about the group we were meeting ("Patrick, what if they are a bunch of serial killers?" (you can never trust the internet!)... but was so pleasantly surprised at the warm, friendly people that came to "see" the PR tour, just like me!
(continued) we arrived in NY on Friday afternoon and got tickets for "ring of fire" on Broadway. Excellent choice. Woke early on Saturday..Tbone's choosing to go to Macy's to see the people in line for auditions. Lucky we did because we got to see Daniel AND we meet Laura for the very first time!!! From that point on...you know the rest. I think my pedometer would have registered 500,000 steps if I had it with me :) Highlights for me: seeing the workroom at Parson's (so small!) Meeting Kara, Emmett and his Mom! and being able to talk to Tim about the show and his "real job" at Parsons! Loved being apart of the tour...can't wait to see all of you next year! Kath

T-Bone - NYC suits you! Wish I could have been there to see all the PR sights (and hit an Irish bar or two)!
