I know you've been wondering which one was Kara's 13th look. I have been too. I never guessed it was this beauty though. This is my favorite!
Laura hi,
Sorry I didn't get beck to you sooner. Hoping you are well
The 13th look is the teal and bronze dress
Thanks

No Way! This was the best one of the entire collection! Way to go Kara. All in all the 13th looks were a mean spirited attempt to produce drama in an already overly dramatic situation.... but the pieces the designers came up with rocked! Excellent!
i would never think to put teal and bronze together. stunning.
I really love this dress. As for the color combination, I think I once saw these colors on some Italian tiles at the Los Angeles Union Station. That was 30 years ago and I still vividly remember them (the tiles are in the walkways down to the trains).
Kara, you are amazing and you are really are all about color and prints and wonder textiles! I'm so glad we got to see you collection (albeit on a tiny screen).
WOW! I would have never guessed that as the 13th! It is stunning and it was my favorite. The colors and the shape was beautiful!
Shut up! That was my favorite piece of anyone's collection!
I adore the color and cut of that dress as well as the detailing.
Big props to Kara!
That is gorgeous! Do we know if she had an assistant on this?
BTW, my roommate met Kara last week at the event in Chicago (I wasn't able to go). Said she was very sweet.
This is so beautiful-it's really too bad Kara didn't do this for the evening gown challenge. I can really see Iman in it!
The more I look at all 4 collections, the more I like them. I truly think that we will see great things from all 4 designers in the future.
REally!! I agree.. it was my favorite too..
Great stuff underpressure..
This is my favorite of all the collections as well. I thought it was copper, though -- the color of copper paired with the color of tarnished copper. It reminds me of Lake Louise (which is aqua because of the copper in the water) and of old brick town halls in England with their tarnished copper spires. I have red hair and this would look fabulous on me, if I do say so myself, with brick red lips and nails. I settled for the black and green kimono dress ... but someday ...
That was my favorite of her collection.
Agree. I was blown away by the color combo. Thought it was a fantastic look; I can't believe it was her 11th-hour piece. Well done, Kara!
I was at the show and this dress was just beautiful in movement. It absolutly glided down the runway. Most beautiful.
This dress is stunning! I think we're all blown away by her amazing use of color. Bronze and teal? Unexpected and simply gorgeous!! I agree that she should have pulled this one out for the evening gown challenge. Iman SO would have (or at least should have) selected to wear it on the red carpet.
